Origin of organic spirulina

Spirulina first appeared on the Earth about 3.5 billion years ago.
It is a photosynthetic organism, a cyanobacteria which allowed the Earth’s atmosphere to support life as we know it today.

Spirulina owes its blue-green colour to two natural pigments: phycocyanin and chlorophyll, which have health-boosting properties.

Our chosen spirulina supplier is the Parry farm in the Tamil Nadu region of southern India, which produces excellent quality organic spirulina only from organically-grown plants.

This 100% natural organic spirulina is grown in the open air in freshwater ponds according to Ecocert’s eco-responsible aquaculture guidelines.

Its composition, naturally rich in phycocyanin and beta-carotene, brings strength and vitality to the whole body.
